Descension


I participated in a short game jam, with only a few days to submit after the theme was announced. I chose to keep the project simple, creating a 2D top-down game. This was the first game jam I completed, and while I spent a little too much time refining the water shader, it was rewarding to finish a complete game.

In hindsight, I would have prioritised developing engaging mechanics over attempting to include a detailed story in such a short timeframe. I made the decision to use asset packs rather than create my own art, which proved to be the right choice and saved valuable time.
